Fight Inks in Progress
Added 2019-06-12 12:38:08 +0000 UTCEthel issue 2 is trucking along and as you can see the inks are in progress - pictured above is 2 panels in progress (the frame layer is muted). I'm still working out the "workflow", but the 2nd issue is written, storyboarded and drawn. I'm going through and inking panels now from the top down - which means I do the main characters and then add backgrounds, effects, swords, etc... if they aren't drawn yet. I like to see the entire page and make decisions based on contrast and page layout since this is primarily a print project.
Issues 3-4 are being written and with any luck I'll be releasing this bi-monthly. I may bring back the drawing video series to hype the books along with Magnum Skywolf and my other drawings for kids and Robot Kittens, lots of pieces to put in place before the end of the year.
One thing is for certain, the robot body count is very high in Ethel 2.
