[STABLE BUILD] Gorge Valley - Update 0.0.5.3: Renovations!

(THIS IS THE STABLE BUILD! DESPITE LIKELY HAVING MUCH LESS ISSUES THAN THE UNSTABLE VERSION, KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS STILL EARLY DEVELOPMENT AND YOU SHOULD SAVE OFTEN AND EXPECT CRASHES.)

HOWDY FARMERS!

THE FIFTH MAJOR BUILD IS FINALLY HERE!! WOOOOOO!

This is another update that is pretty focused around quality of life and overhauling systems, but it's a pretty fun one. This one's a lot more focused around making the gameplay more enjoyable.

But, of course, it comes with PLENTY of new stuff to sink your teeth into!

So let's run through everything you need to know!

Brie the Barn Mouse!

The first new thing you'll probably notice is the introduction cutscenes. At long last, Gorge Valley is getting a proper story, rather than just being a little forest sandbox full of cow girls.

I won't spoil much here. Go check it out! You can get your hands on it as soon as you start a new game!

But the bare bones of it is a look into what Sky is doing in Gorge Valley in the first place... with a couple options for how her arrival might go...

New Mocha Portraits!

Mocha is the first of the cows to have all of her fat portraits completely finished! They'll now update properly as she increases in size and fattens up!

New Save System!

The new save system was, in all honesty, barely working. There was a good reason why every single update completely corrupted the previous versions' saves.

It's been completely overhauled and expanded upon, allowing for multiple save slots that can be overwritten or copied!

Gotta Go Quickly!

Farm a bit too tedious to cross? Is the newly-improved barn getting a bit too wide to trek through over and over again? Worry not! You can now sprint as far as your stamina will take you by just holding Shift when you move!

New Dryad!

A starchy lady with a few extra limbs has found her way to the farm! As always, seeds for her can be picked up from June.

New Sky Size!

At long last, Sky's newest size is all ready! Sky's been growing to absolutely earth-shaking proportions lately with all the bad influences around...

With all that out of the way... holy shit, thank you guys again. I know everyone must be sick of hearing it by now, but my god, I really don't know how to show my gratitude for all the support this project has garnered. I wouldn't be able to work on it nearly this much and pour my heart and soul into it if it weren't for you guys, so seriously, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

You guys are the reason we have the farm. It literally wouldn't be here without y'all.

-NEW SKY SIZE: Sky now has a third size and bloated state, slowing her down, increasing her maximum fullness, and causing earth-shaking steps!
-The tortilla recipe no longer makes nachos instead.
-Dryads now properly remove their hitbox when they are uprooted.
-Sugar Dryads no longer ask for the incorrect items.
-Starting chest now actually works (HOPEFULLY)
-Crop plots now properly remove their hitbox when destroyed between two other crop plots.
-Scrubbed Candace's middle name from the Dark Web.

-Fixed glitchy dryad dialogue.
-Left clicking no longer makes you drop the hose, but pressing F without a target will!

-Fixed a bug where dryads growing mid-minigame would get Sky stuck.
-Fixed a bug that literally wouldn't let you give villagers the potions to turn them into cows. (Woops)

-BRIE THE BARN MOUSE: A new visitor is joining the farm! Brie will help you expand the barn to house future cows in exchange for a cheesy trade!
-NEW DRYAD: Potato Dryad! This bold, four-armed beauty will offer all the starch you need for your potato-y dishes! You can buy her seeds from June.
-DRYAD OVERHAUL: Dryad care has been completely reworked from the ground up to be less annoying and more rewarding.
-SPRINTING: By popular request, you can now get across the farm much faster by sprinting! Just hold down Shift while walking!
-NEW SAVE SYSTEM: Three save slots, and the ability to copy and overwrite saves at any time!
-MINIGAMES OVERHAUL: Clunkier minigames like Milking have been reworked, and the Feeding minigame has had major quality of life improvements, like instant refrigerator access and being able to give Digestion Potions from the minigame menu!
-NEW CUTSCENES: Added cutscenes for each upgrade of the barn with Brie, as well as new cutscenes for bursting dryads.
-NEW FAT PORTRAITS: Mocha now has all of her weight portraits! Her portrait will actively update as she gets bigger with each size!
-NEW INGREDIENTS: Cheese and Tortillas have both been added for cooking!
-NEW COOKABLE FOODS: New foods like Nachos and Cheese Fries are able to be crafted at the oven!
-"WHAT'S NEW?" BUTTON: Added an option with Izzy where she'll tell you about everything new with each update.
-Interactions are much more keyboard-sided now instead of mouse clicking.
-You can now skip through all cutscenes.
-Dryads now have names! (Assigned randomly, from a list of supporter names! ❤️)
-Added new settings!
-Added new dialogue to almost every character on the farm!
-Candace no longer sells Fries since they're craftable.
-Sky now gets heavy as fuck in the into cutscene.
-Fixed a bug where the starter chest sometimes just wouldn't have anything in it.
-Ovens now continue cooking when you leave a room and come back.
-Fixed... you guessed it, another camera bug.
-Added plenty more particle effects.
-Fixed some cutscene errors here and there.
-Made the day/night cycle much smoother and less buggy.
-Completely overhauled the inventory system because it was a buggy mess.
-Fixed about a million bugs with the save system. It SHOULD be way less likely to corrupt saves between different versions now. (But obviously, no guarantees.)
-Mocha's previous identity has been scrubbed from government records.
