About Commissions

As previously discussed, I've been meaning to update my commission format for a while now. I figured now it's finally time.

Up to now I've been doing the body sections format (Head Shot, Half Body, Full Body), but I've been considering changing it to a more "effort based" system. What I mean by that is the prices will now reflect the amount of work I'll put into a piece. This will allow me to give a greater variety of price options for anyone who wishes to commission me. Now, don't get wrong, this does not mean I'll put less effort into smaller commissions like Head Shots, Emotes or Avatars, I'll still try to make the best thing possible for that specific piece. What will happen is that basically each commission will now be it's own "beast".

Regarding Pricing

My prices haven't been updated since 2020, but with the whole situation in the world, it's getting harder and harder to get by with just the previous ones. So now, more than ever, I feel like it's finally time to make some changes. Plus, I also feel like I improved enough with my art since then to make sure this is the right moment. 

These changes will take effect next time I open commissions.

The new adjusted price table is (all prices are USD):

• Sketches: $10
• Lineart and B/W: $30
• Portraits / Head Shots / Chibi: $50
• Flat Colors (with minor shading): $80
• Full Render: $130
• Background (With a character): $50-$100
• Background (only): $80-$150. Price varies based on the complexity/amount of detail on the background.

Extras/Additional Prices:

• NSFW Tag: $10, per character lewded / in a lewd situation. (R16+)
• Design Complexity: $20-60. Price is based on complexity/amount of detail necessary for the character.
• Extra Characters (each): $60
• Variations: $20-$60, per variation. Price varies based on how much has to be changed between variations.
• (New) Multiple Scenes: $50-$150, per scene. Similar to variations, however this is for commissions that have multiple scenes (basically completely different drawings but the same "story"). Extra prices also apply individually to each scene.
• (New) Full OC Design (With Reference Sheet): $200-$400. Price is based on how detailed the character + sheet is, since those can take a lot of time to make.
• (New, on occasion) Your Character Here (YCH) Commissions: I give you a base/template and you pay me to fill that base with a character of your choice! Price varies based on what the base is, so I can give you an exact price as of now.

I may also be running specific types of commissions from time to time, like only head shot commissions, or only full body etc.

Just like the Suggestions Box, I might also turn Commissions into a proper Form too to make it easier and simpler to send me a commissions request. I'll inform if and when I do that.

Well, this is my plan. Some things may change when it is finally implemented but this is the base template.
