Episode 247 - Accident while Sailing in a Storm in Formentera, Ibiza!
Added 2025-05-05 07:37:25 +0000 UTCWe Sail happily from Mallorca to Formentera, a little island just off the coast of Ibiza, we explore ashore and snorkel in a beautiful anchorage full of wonderfull sea life, until we are taken unawares in the early hours of the morning, when a unpredicted storm hits and we find ourselves being pushed onto a rocky shore, finally leaving to seek shelter else where I come a cropper when I slip and fall smacking my face on the sprayhood and splitting my nose open! But it's nothing bit of glue can't fix and we're soon on our way again across from the Balearics to Mainland Spain, anchoring near Alicante.

Thanks John! It did heal up ok in the end, just a bit of a scar to remind he to be careful π Bears loves getting rocks so he can sink down and walk about π that one was definitely quite heavy though! π€ͺ

Bears my little superstar, he helps me with whatever I need especially at the moment. Glad you enjoyed this episode. It was all a bit eventful at end of the season actually but still lots of fun!

2025-05-06 22:50:41 +0000 UTCEnjoyed the video with you and crew back on the water, so sorry you had a swimming scare(glad Bear rescued you with the meds) and cut bridge of you nose in this one ( I couldn't have imagined having to sew myself up like you did ) but it appeared that Beau & Bear enjoyed the water & sail in the Balearics isles. Looking forward to next week as always.

Your injury looked bad but was healing nicely by the end of the video. Keep sailing and have fun on the voyage.
