Update: Bug hunting in progress ...
Added 2024-07-05 10:07:09 +0000 UTCOkay, so the release has kind of stalled while I try to fix a really serious error which a few players are reporting. Namely that there's a few times when the story literally doesn't progress - such as in Chapter 5 where you are supposed to meet Heather downtown to retrieve her stolen phone from Jennifer's apartment. There might be other times too, but that one has been reported in particular. I know it's kind of a pain, but if anyone is running into an error like that - where they're following the walkthrough and something is simply not happening that should be, please shoot me a DM and I can send you a "debug" version of the game, where if you were willing to get to that point and then follow a few steps to send me back some info about your game stats, that would be so much help!
This is going out to all players, regardless of the tier - I know I've been sharing the test builds for $3 tiers and up, but basically if you have ever run into this issue on whatever last version of the game you played, please do reach out (and let me know what version you were playing - online, PC, Mac, etc).
