0.5.2 Test Build!

Well, here it is, in all its scrappy, unfinished glory - the test build of Girl Games 0.5.2. If you've been following along with my posts recently, then you'll probably have a good idea as to what this has (and doesn't yet). But to recap: 

• Heather and Jennifer's stories now run up to their second scenes. 
• You can hook up with Amy
• You can hook up with a mysterious older woman at the bar
• Most stores now have some items in them (meaning you can have a little dress-up fun!)

Also, did you know you can now call your mistress - the mechanic only works during Jennifer’s second quest currently, but yeah. If you take a look at your phone homescreen, there’s now an added ‘contacts’ button! 

Still to do before the final/public release: 

• Final polish, tweaks and playtesting/bug-hunting
• Fix a bug that names quick saves as ‘bedroom’ rather than current player location
• Add in a short (optional) tutorial’ section to the Secretary intro
• Add short message/cut scenes that trigger at the 3rd Mistress quests, telling players that they’re coming in 0.5.3
• Add daydreams related to your recent experiences
• Add tucking mechanic and descriptions
• Add chastity mechanic and descriptions
• Add sound effects to ALL the new content basically
• Put in ‘checks’ to stop certain choices being made (like going to sleep or waiting until evening on the day you’re supposed to meet Heather at the mall, so don’t do that, okay!)
• Potentially calm down the camera movement during the sex scenes - is it too much???
• Work out the prices of things - so that the quests that involve money with whatever you can currently earn in game! (Right now, just for this test build, I’ve set your balance at $1000 so you can easily access the new content and go on a shopping spree to try on some new items - should you so choose! Note: right now you can only buy womenswear once you’ve had at least ONE event with a mistress - again this needs to be more nuanced in future, but this is a quick fix for now!)

Other issues i’m aware of: 

• the Amy ‘hookup loop’ still needs some work. The idea is that you can visit her repeatedly after the first cut scene. More will be added, but right now there might be a few strange behaviours on the subsequent visits! 
• most likey the whole Claire / nightclub hookup is super janky and strange too. This also needs a LOT more work and polish!
