UPDATE - Web Version is Actually Working!!!

So I dug into the main initial issue - the character images not showing and I've got it working on the web version! There might still be a few issues with choices not showing up but maybe this is all working now? I'm going to play through myself start to finish to make sure and might update again if i run into any obvious snags (do post any issues you find in the comments below or DM) but ... this version actually seems to be working in the sense that the damn characters are finally showing up!!

Obviously up to you but I recommend going full screen for the full experience (just click the icon in the bottom right corner to do so).

And if you run into any performance issues, try running it in different browsers. For example, for me it runs buttery smooth in Firefox but is a little slow to run in Chrome for whatever reason ...
