Version 0.3.1: The Response ...
Added 2020-07-03 10:51:35 +0000 UTCWell, as I was predicting, the all new Ren'py version was met with a mixed response. I wish wish wish I had even more time to work on this game - my dream would be to do it full time - and to just be able to wave a magic wand and transfer everything from the old Twine version over to the new version in one go! But obviously that's not gonna happen and it'll be a couple months until I'm back to roughly where I was (i.e. with a few weeks worth of content instead of one complete day).
But I had some good responses too - especially on the TFGames site - and a couple new patrons to boot (hi!).
Overall, I'm happy with how it was met. And I'm glad that a lot of people are onboard with the new Ren'py style too. By the time I'm done, I'm hoping there won't be anything missing from the old Twine version, only now it'll have those slick transitions and whatnot that I've grown to love! I'm already hard at work (in gaps between writing my erotica), cooking up some more interesting stuff to happen in Week One, including different events being triggered during the class stuff as opposed to the same damn thing happening every day!
I said in my last post, I can't make any promises as to exactly WHEN that's gonna be ready, but rest assured that I'm aiming my hardest for the last week of this month, so that you guys can have a week to play it before it goes live to everyone else. :) x
