A note on my "write a song in an hour" livestream
Added 2018-04-04 20:35:29 +0000 UTCHey everybody!
A couple of days ago, I did a live stream where I composed a goofy little tune in an hour. I thought it would be fun to take suggestions from Patreon and from the chat and mold a song out of crowd suggestions.
(You can watch it here, to watch me struggle)
It started off rocky. The chat that I was taking suggestions from quickly devolved into chaos and a torrent of negative feedback. I never ended up working in any of the Patreon suggestions, because I was fairly frazzled, and ended up with a weird tune that is...eh.
I want to apologize for not working in Patreon suggestions but I also what to clarify a couple of things for you guys.
1) I'm not going to do "real" live streams on my main channel anymore. Shitposty ones like the 5-hour lick, sure, but not something of substance. The chat is a terrible free-for-all.
2) All live streams are going to be Patreon-only events. There already have been a couple of them, but anytime theres a live Q+A, it will be Patreon and Patreon only.
3) PLEASE UNDERSTAND I'm definitely not somebody like Jacob Collier. Sorry I can't give you that Collier genius, as plenty of people have complained about, but hey. I never claimed to be that good.
Anyway, thank you so much for being my Patrons, it means so much to me that you are supporting my channel and what I do. I really do owe you guys so much!
BASS,
Adam

Adam, in my humble opinion, keep doing what you do. And do it YOUR way. The reason I love watching your vids (and am a Patron) is because you ARE different than those “others”. It’s your uniqueness and personality that keeps me watching and supporting.
