Hey Adam, just signed up on Patreon. Question: What can I, as a drummer, do to better sync up with the bass guitar when we're holding down the groove? How can I talk with my bass players to work those things out? I play in a blues band, an alternative band, and a rock band, mostly for fun and getting a few bucks here and there.

Is there something special about this type of score theorywise? Or it's just specific sound of hardware and samples? I'm asking because even if I'm listening to the orchestrated pieces of music from the game I've never played, just maybe heard about, I still can tell which game music is from. Example: in your gig vlog from 16 bit award you played a tune from ocarina of time, and it was obvious for me that it is from zelda, though I had never played ocarina of time before. So what is the secret? Your videos are great, thanks
