Heyyyyy guys!

First, I want to say again THANK YOU for supporting me here on Patreon, because it really does help me put my YouTube channel first and foremost in what I do, and lets me devote the time I need in order to research and develop these videos.

This past week was nuts (and kinda down to the wire) in terms of me writing this script, shooting the video, and editing it, so it might be a little rough in spots, but I hope you get some interesting ideas out of it. A big goal of mine is to make sure you leave my videos with a great big plate full of food for thought, and I spend a lot of time researching, experimenting and developing ideas that even the most seasoned music professionals probably have never heard of before.

This video was no different - it's almost considered common knowledge that the tritone was banned in the middle ages for being the devil in music...but I wanted to make this video exploring why something I call Semantic Shift was the main reason why we think of the tritone today as diabolus en musica.
