Join Bussy Queen (that's me) to react to and review the fourth episode of the Australian and New Zealand version of Rupaul's Drag Race. In episode 4 of Down Under, our queens created runway looks out of Rucycled materials and Art Simone rucycled herself into the competition! But- why is she back? Where are Coco Jumbo and Jojo Zaho? WHAT is going on!?

I agree. It's so overproduced. I complain profusely about hating it but continue to watch it religiously. 🤔 Wish a solid alternative would step up and put Drag Race to death. One that's fair and reasonable casting and judging, a more authentic competition, treats the contestants better, actually cares about diversity and inclusion... The HBO Max Original show Legendary is close but it's not the same kind of competition so wouldn't be feasible to replace Drag Race. But I think HBO got the right formula down with Legendary and could easily apply that to a drag competition and blow the competition out of the water.

2021-05-27 02:57:31 +0000 UTCI think the only way I can continue to enjoy drag race (and this season in particular) is to view the contestants as actors in a scripted show. Nothing has been believable or organic so far 🤷♀️
