Life update: John passed his flight check on Tuesday! So he’s back working this week, with a flight to Bali to kick off his working month! I’ve been busy working on our latest episode, and getting into a bit of a working routine AT HOME (one things that I've noticed... it’s VERY nice to be editing on a large desktop screen!). 🙂 Also had my bloods taken yesterday (I dragged John with me because I’m a wuss with needles!). It’s been about a year since I’ve had a full health check, so I’m looking forward to receiving the results on next Monday.
Socially: I have a friends 30th tomorrow, so it will be GREAT to reconnect with a couple of my old TV journalist friends who I haven’t seen in months (and some in years, since quitting and purchasing Tucana!!).
One thing I didn’t realise about YouTube and working online, is that I work alone most days! So I’m so GRATEFUL for these special re-connections when I get home, my family and you guys 🥰 to share all these 'real life' moments with.
Also, in regards to future plans, John and I are currently working out what we should do for the month of November. We do have an upcoming hike booked... let me explain...
Back in April, we managed to secure tickets to an insane hike in NZ that usually sells out in minutes. Have you heard of the Milford Track in New Zealand??!!! It’s a pretty brutal hike, 6 hours a day, for 3 days, carrying everything on our backs! John is pretty fit at the moment, but I’m not sure I'll be able to handle it, haha! Plus, it’s avalanche season, so we need to make sure we have the proper winter gear so we don’t freeze to death! Will keep you posted if we go ahead with the plans! But if you have any ideas or suggestions let us know... Whatever we do, we’ll document the experience and share the special journey with you 🙂
DON'T FORGET TO ENTER FOR THE PRIZE BELOW GUYS!! :)
