Alright, so I rendered only 1 page this week, but decided to redraw 3. I'm going to try to keep this simple.

Most of these replacements are simply about the bad drawing. On the first page, the anatomy of her crotch is so incredibly fucked up. The way she's turning looks awkward, and I'm trying to move away from disembodied body parts as much as possible. It's also about the efficiency of storytelling. I can get across in two panels in what previously took... 5. Finally it's about intimacy and ideas. It's not like the final page I'm replacing is a bad drawing. It does feel awkward. It does lack intimacy.

The thing with art I've learned in the past few years is that it's not about accuracy or even a good drawing most of the time. It's about "Do I feel that?" That's what I'm going for with these replacements. Drawings that more accurately convey the feeling. It's hard to articulate, but I hope it comes through.

I'm going to try to ink these over the weekend. My goal is to have base colors done by next Thursday all while rendering another page. I'll let you know if I succeed.
