I used to work in a theme park that had a "beer pen". On our new hire orientation day, we were informed that the primary reason for its existance is that the park didn't have a liquor license, but their partnered food and beverage supplier did. So you can buy a beer from 'Acme Foods' or whatever, but only while squatting on their front stoop. Guests were generally exasperated to hear this, but our Beer Tent was also where they set up the stage, so at least they could sip their drink while watching faux Michael Jackson do his thing. 🤷♀️

2024-04-17 00:23:57 +0000 UTCI loved this ride when I was very young visiting the park with my family from Canada because there was never a line for it. You would be able to finish the ride and go right back on it and that was super fun as a kid haha
