Nick fury changes his glasses, because it's got Tech in it. It doesn't have that much technology in it, but enough to scam vidal signs if someone is lying or look for certain Infrared lighting like in the first episode. Like Tony

2023-07-06 02:30:14 +0000 UTCRhodey is a Skrull, Fury made a point in this episode that nobody calls him Nick and Rhodey referred to him as Nick last episode. Fury caught Talos pretending to be his boss out like that in Captain Marvel as well. I think that is why Fury was a bit shook and sat on the bench after that dialogue.
