SOCIALISM - An In-Depth Explanation
Added 2022-08-28 14:26:57 +0000 UTCHey all, here's the latest upload. The time between uploads here has been the longest since I became dedicated to this channel. It's been a painful wait for me. I was amazed to check my Patreon page after all that time and see that very few people had dropped their subscriptions despite the lack of uploads. Thank you for that. It was heartening to see. The delay mostly came from the intense research load (if you look at the sources for this one you'll see). This was also the most technically and intellectually complicated piece I've made so far. I tried to cram a 22 page script into a sub-hour video, and that was an endeavor to say the least. To pull it off, I made my first hires for the channel (two part-time and one full-time once recording started). For one, I couldn't have afforded to do that without this Patreon, so again, thank you. It led to a higher quality video, but also did introduce a number of complications and led to delays involved with relying on other people. I'm trying to evolve the channel and some growing pains are going to be in order.
Looking forward, the next video will be on China and Taiwan. The research is already pretty much done for it and I'm looking to go into production pretty much right away. I hope you guys enjoy the work, and thank you again so much for your support.

Excellent video and historical analysis of socialism. I was familiar with the basic concepts, but you've motivated me to do more reading on this topic. I appreciate your objectivity, which I've seen on display on this and other videos (e.g. your critique of post-modernism). I tend to lean left politically, but I there are good ideas on the right that I agree with too. So it's refreshing to come across one like yourself that seems more interested in truth over pushing a platform.

As for the lower classes getting in the way of communism I think they also get in the way of democracy. And science...
