Great video, Ryan! This is SUCH an important concept...not just knowing how to 'know' but to communicate important information that is challenging to the listener. I'm very impressed with that you are bothering to address the understandability of the argument rather than simply its truth. There are no weak points in this video. Great video, Ryan! I'm very impressed with that you are addressing the understandability of the argument rather than simply its truth. I have seriously gotten a lot out of this and I’m going to watch it repeatedly until I know everything you are saying. Your most valuable strength in this area is that you have a keen understanding of knowing what your audience will understand. That is something I’ve never been great at. Now, I put new effort into staying aware of whether I am making a connection rather than simply focusing on getting the info and the logic correct. This has become the most important obstacle over the past 2 years given the fearful, distrusting and passive/aggressive nature of ppl regarding CRT as well as Covid. I have practiced my whole adult life at not allowing fear to have anything to do with judgment of the truth. But, since that is NOT what most ppl do, I either don’t approach it right and can’t figure out what is right, OR, there isn’t anything right. Generally, I never try to give unsolicited advice, but I had a friend I’ve known since 6th grade you died of Covid, is such a way that could have EASILY been avoided.
