Thieves’ Guild it is ! ...And Spider Elves !!
Added 2020-04-30 13:41:15 +0000 UTCSo it looks like you guys like thieves ;)
Well, that’s great because we like them too!
We have a lot of ideas for this project, but we are also listening to your suggestions, so if you’d like to see some specific things, it’s time to let us know!
Seeing you so excited about the Spider Elves is also very rewarding for us. We are currently gathering material to help you with your RPG adventures using these scary fiends, just like we did for the Pirates. Get ready for the Underdark!
Some of you told us that it would be great to have more “on foot” dark elves characters. Don’t worry, we’ll do more Dark Elves if you want us to. But in a single release, we have to stay focussed on a specific theme so that you have a good mix of characters of the same “style” so that you can stage your adventure with a nice palette of PNGs.
But yes, let us know if we should start thinking about including Dark Elves in the future releases polls.
What about Vampires then?
Finally, a word about Vampires.
We completely understand that since other Patreons have already covered Vampires, you would want something else. However, some of you also said they wouldn’t want us to completely forget about them. So we'll keep this project cosy in a dark crypt for now and we'll resurrect it at a future time when the moon is full ;)
We do think that we could definitely bring the Raging Heroes touch to a Vampire host and that it would be something very special!
Tell us what Thieves Characters you'd like to see!
So once again, let us know if you have suggestions on the Thieves’ Guild and we’ll do our best to incorporate the most popular and exciting ones :)
Comments
Definitely Genasi - especially Earth and fire, maybe some ifrit characters, tabaxi swashbuckler, definitely visit other areas like oceanic/pirate, jungle, woodlands, arctic etc

2020-06-07 15:25:18 +0000 UTCOne thing that could work also, instead of a "Thief Guild v2", is that each month, you have a different race/clan, and inside this monthly release, there is a specific roguy/stealthy miniature that has clothing remembering the Thief Guild theme. So it could be played with his fellow monthly comrades, or picked out and integrated in a continually evolving Thief Guild :)

2020-05-21 11:49:44 +0000 UTCWhen I think Raging Heroes doing a guild of thieves, I think of beautiful women in leather armor who embody the various roles of a guild - guild mistress, the enforcers, the deadly twin assassins, the courtesan, the spy, the pickpocket, the cat burglar, the arcane trickster, and maybe some bonus urchins. Add to that some leather armored rogues of various ancestries (elves and dark elves of course, but I'd like to see an RH dragonborn!) and weapon loadouts - it ain't all just rapiers and crossbows, after all. Naturally some male versions of the above would be more than welcome.
Dustin Ballard
2020-05-20 21:13:56 +0000 UTCYes now they are :)
Raging Heroes
2020-05-19 08:53:17 +0000 UTCWould love a thieves guild set with a gritty European medieval feel to them. Characters concealing weapons under cloaks would be cool. Non human fantasy races as well.
Alastair Christie
2020-05-17 17:51:09 +0000 UTCThat would be so great to have a guild of thieves just like the Tantalas from FF9 (like Bach, Djidane and co... with dagger etc... and with a black mage ;) ) So more medieval style

2020-05-03 14:57:23 +0000 UTCcommoner as targets is a definite must at some point - or just general market patrons, there are always places for revellers, but what about people wanting things from the blacksmith, the farrier, etc etc - but being aware this is HEROES INFINITE...... hmmmm
Chris Short
2020-05-03 10:05:31 +0000 UTCA thief guild needs targets and victims. A rich nobleman with a purse dangling from his belt? An unfortunate assassins target with a knife in his back? A jeweler with his wares on display?

2020-05-03 07:48:38 +0000 UTCI'd love to see more races included. For me it's hard to find a good dragonborn miniature for use in D&D so some thief themed half dragons would be great.
Andy Fox
2020-05-03 07:09:33 +0000 UTCSpell blades, roguish thug types, a thief that specialize in using "use magical device". And of course the pick pockets, assassin, or ranged thieves. Maybe a thief using a magical device to control an iron golem or stone golem.
Stephen Brewer
2020-05-03 04:18:01 +0000 UTCI know this may be off topic but it would be great to see some miniatures inspired from Greek mythology. We have the random Medusa or Minotaur but it would be really cool to see the Raging Heroes version of Greek gods or heroes. I am sure they can come up with a lot of sexy models in that theme!

2020-05-01 20:27:16 +0000 UTCSince the thieves of a city can be of any kind, why not a rag-tag bunch. use a bunch of different races for obviously different skill sets. Goblin sneak, human charlatans, halfork brutes and enforcers. And like any good guild why not have a King of thieves.
Adam Prince
2020-05-01 20:23:41 +0000 UTCWould absolutely love some on foot dark elves :)

2020-05-01 16:39:44 +0000 UTCConcerning vampires, +1 to take them out on Halloween, with pumpkins (large and small pumpkin man/woman, headless man/woman, ...). The Thieves are present in several themes, my favorites around fantasy are : - Arabic style (sails, turbans, oriental weapons, Turkish, flying carpets, assassins, jewels and caves, caravans, oasis), - Asian style (mao, kimono, straw hat, Asian weapons, ninja, assassins, geisha, smoke and poisons, bamboo and pagoda roof, martial arts), - monsters/creatures related to the Arabic and Asian styles (cobra, griffin, basil, jin, genie, sphinx, nephilim, dragon, kami, goblins).
LudovicG
2020-05-01 14:35:19 +0000 UTCPeasants and villagers would be cool. Also common bodies (not only those sexy bodies you sculpt so good) wouyld be nice.
Andrés Nortes Martínez-Artero
2020-05-01 12:31:35 +0000 UTCFafhrd & Gray Mouser lookalikes would be great. I expect you are familiar with the works of Fritz Lieber since this was an option ;)

2020-05-01 10:42:53 +0000 UTCIt sounds like it's going to lean heavily into Arabian Nights, so I'd like it if it didn't get too tied up into that somehow. I don't want every single model to look like something out of 1001 Nights, so they can also be used in other settings.

2020-05-01 07:15:21 +0000 UTCDefinitely second Arabian Nights!
DL Quinn
2020-05-01 06:48:23 +0000 UTCI'm digging the idea of Arabian nights, a lot of material to work with there. Maybe expand on monsters, I don't recall anyone mentioning scorpions or snakes either as giant beasts or as races. Desert guardians could be cool as well, it stands to reason that thieves might get hired to raid tombs so they might encounter Djinn, golems, mummys, Manticore, a sphinx. I'm also surprised entertainers haven't come up much, like a belly dancer, story teller or a fire breather, something to catch the eye and distract people, A snake charmer could be interesting as some kind of beast master. Someone mentioned mounts earlier and I think this would be a fantastic opportunity for a magic carpet that can hold a figure or two. And if you do go with the Arabian nights theme we need a genie and a lamp. Also if you guys start doing the interchangeable heads and make all your stuff modular, I'm pretty sure you will set the standard for how this kind of service is done and you will make a lot of people very happy.
Thom Deul
2020-05-01 06:18:16 +0000 UTCOk so here we have brand new beautiful models and we're really happy about it. A little suggestion: can you add to the monthly new releases a couple of models from the actual site? Now we have the "welcome pack", can we have a "nostalgia pack" in the future? Not that i could complaint about a brand new wereshewolf ; ) And maybe some muscle beauty in the future? I know that not everyone like e muscled woman (i saw mean comments on the subject) but there are people that appreaciate them out there. Keep it up your the great job!
David Pigo
2020-05-01 06:17:54 +0000 UTCStreet urchins, kids that run and rule the streets. Start them young. I have seen this in real life (Brazil and Peru) and in movies however have not seen it portrayed in miniatures much.

2020-05-01 04:27:02 +0000 UTCAs long as there's lots of awesome ladies that aren't sexualised too much I'll be happy.

2020-05-01 04:05:25 +0000 UTCI'd like to see a tief that happens to be a vampire... or one that looks fat, but is stuffed with stolen goods.

2020-05-01 01:58:33 +0000 UTCWould love some based in the forgotten realms so wear-rat thief drow assassin and gnome kingpin esk miniatures
cai lansdown
2020-05-01 01:50:11 +0000 UTCYes, please expand on the dark elf range in the future. Spider cavalry would be particularly great.
Terje Erwing Bjelkholm
2020-04-30 23:42:35 +0000 UTCI think the whole point of a thieve's guild would require it to not have a theme. Several kids on a base pick-pocketing. A cat burglar scaling a building wall. The bank robber. Depending on futuristic or fantasy, there's a concept from a Coheed and Cambria album about three futuristic bank robbers and some really cool art. I bet the band would love to have miniatures of their characters.
Jacob Stacey
2020-04-30 21:43:46 +0000 UTCIt would great to see a steampunk gang of thieves, get some different costuming in there that the usual hooded cloak and dagger routine. A steampunk Victorian burglary ring could have toughs, cat-burglar, a face man (or woman), a getaway driver with a steam coach. Give me some different costumes like women in actual dresses and people with steam-power cybernetics.
CURTIS CRADDOCK
2020-04-30 20:56:28 +0000 UTCQueen of Thieves, Thief Guild Master/Mistress, Cat Burglar, Pickpocket, Enforcer, Charlatan, Forger, Hitman, Smuggler, Blackmarketeer, Lookout, Shady traders, also a mix of different races would be an idea, I also like the Arabian Night theme that was mentioned, maybe a Asia theme (I'm not talking ninjas), but I would also be interested in a Ancient Greek/Roman theme. I just thought of something, you didn't say that it would be fantasy so could it be a modern Thieves Guild or did you plan fantasy all out?? Also making a Thieves Guild would also mean you will need to make Bounty Hunters or City Guards :) Vampire related, there could be a Vampire thief in the guild which might be their secret weapon :)
Esben Christiansen
2020-04-30 20:52:13 +0000 UTCI would love to have some more out of the box "thieves". Like a fence or an forger. Also a thief with like some gadgets up her sleeves would be awesome.

Ron Purvis
2020-04-30 20:45:38 +0000 UTCI know this might not count as an unusual race but can you please have a Halfling Thief? The little folk often get the short end of the stick.
BoldNotBald
2020-04-30 20:41:39 +0000 UTCGoing with the desert-based thieves guild... - Arcane trickster with a dust mephit familiar - Thieves guild boss riding a blue dragon (or another desert mount, but NOT a camel! lol) - Thri-kreen wielding multiple weapons (e.g. dual-bladed weapon, dagger(s) and crossbow)
Rob Leonard
2020-04-30 20:39:46 +0000 UTCI like the idea of a magician controlling the sand at his feet for some purpose. Perhaps the model would show a swirling mass of sand coming up from the ground to his outstretched hand.
Rob Leonard
2020-04-30 20:22:52 +0000 UTCDo the vampires in October for Halloween.
Adam A Nerd
2020-04-30 20:03:38 +0000 UTCSome unusual races besides a few normal ones. Or have them covered up and disguised enough that it won't matter what race they're supposed to be if a lot of physical features are hidden.
Obscurities in Miniature
2020-04-30 19:50:45 +0000 UTCNote for the future..... can we have a futuristic / sci fi style month. Jail birds sisters ect.
James March
2020-04-30 19:49:53 +0000 UTCA specialized armorer or weapon smith could be cool. A poisons master. I like the Arcane Trickster idea too
David Price
2020-04-30 19:14:52 +0000 UTCArabian night would be such a cool theme!!! With a merchant and djinn would be amazing additions. Race and gender options would be really cool.
Nicole Haskell
2020-04-30 19:14:15 +0000 UTCHe's also an Arcane Trickster class so he distracts and then uses his invisible mage hand to steal things.
Erik Waring
2020-04-30 18:21:16 +0000 UTCA grifter. When you think of thieves people automatically think stealthy cut purses and such. My current character is built with a lot of charisma and social proficiencies as well as a good disguise kit. He's a conman who never pays for his room and board and changes persona as often as his socks. I realize that would be hard to capture in a single mini but just a cocky con-man whose victims are so distracted by his pomp they don't even realize they are being robbed.
Erik Waring
2020-04-30 18:18:19 +0000 UTCI've always liked the idea of a character who's not terribly quick and not necessarily stealthy, but properly equipped and skilled enough to disarm/open/disenchant anything he's hired to break into.
Jason Penick
2020-04-30 17:35:52 +0000 UTCI'm on the look out for an unarmed balding halfling racketeer whose dizzying wit can steal entire kingdoms. He should be good at riddles, but unfamiliar with the properties of Iocaine powder.
Jeffrey Pigula
2020-04-30 17:27:27 +0000 UTCI second vampire hunters and I think it would be cool to see some human thrall/cultist servants of the vampires as well.
Matt Ballert
2020-04-30 17:09:26 +0000 UTCI would like to see some magician with an oriental theme who controls the magic of sand, summons of sandstone. It would also be nice to see different races united in a thieves' guild, some lizard man, rat man, humans, gnomes. It would also be curious if you added some SLT of a coin that carries a symbol that belongs to the guild, role players would be surprised if a master gives them a physical coin saying "Now you have a pass to the thieves guild" ...
Omar Perez Perez
2020-04-30 16:50:37 +0000 UTCI would love to see a female Shae (shadowy figure with a white mask) wearing cloak/leather and daggers, wrapped in smoke.
DaBroni
2020-04-30 16:28:21 +0000 UTCFor thives guild with the eastern feel I would like to see a seduction. A lot of thives are in the shadows but some also steal from you in plane sight with seduction. Still want to see some stealthy stuff tho. A queen of the thives guild with a pet would be super cool! I picture her on a throne with the pet at her feet. The options of a hood on and off would be amazing. Male characters as henchmen are also appreciated to give a variety. A djinn as the thieves guild queen pet would be pretty good (him captured in magical chains) LOTS of Treasure surrounding each charater is a must!! Piles of gold and jewelry and weapons. YES more dark elfs!! I love them! Vampires from you guys would be AMAZING but let's try for like sep/oct
Jolene Sweeney
2020-04-30 16:03:31 +0000 UTCI know you mostly do females, but it would be nice to have some more males as well, but here are some of my ideas : -Male Stealthy Bugbear assassin with poison dagger, -Male Flashy Tabaxi Rogue with Rapier -Female Flirty Half-Elf backstabber seductress -Arcane Trickster pick pocket with mage hand -Climbing Cat Burgler with Dagger in teeth
demonwombatofdoom
2020-04-30 15:55:17 +0000 UTCWe got a very amazing tavern, tables, chairs and other furniture. What about people (thieves?) are meeting there AND can sit down, planning their next great coup.
Turius Münsterius
2020-04-30 15:45:21 +0000 UTCI definitely want to see unusual races. Minotaur, orc, half-orc, aaracokra, tabaxi. And town guards to chase them.
Lori McDonald
2020-04-30 15:41:55 +0000 UTCI just scanned the email and read "Thieves Guild" , "Spider Elves" , "Underdark" and Vampires and first thought was "Night of the Hunter" R.A Salvatore but then Howard The Duck popped into my mind and it got me thinking; we should really have "Mallard the thief", equipped with two knives, a bunch of potions strapped to a utility belt, complete with a joyful Don Bluth style smile.

2020-04-30 15:32:20 +0000 UTCand also one character MUST be dressed as a sexy odalisque dancing, you do great dancing miniatures so i believe this can be very good !

2020-04-30 15:26:18 +0000 UTCGambler like French duelist big floppy hat puffy shirt pistol rapier goatee think non uniformed musketeer, Ogre Henchman and his half orc pal ogre has a large rough looking cudgle is the half orc wielding a table leg with nails? , Goblin Assassin hooded robe that long spindly nose sticking out pointed chin, broken fang curved dagger raised to strike victims in the back. brawny shirtless fellow with walrus sideburns long hair but bald on top arms folded over poochy stomach standing guard outside the masters quarters. The bookish spectacle (could be monocole) wearing painfully thin consigliere with long tapered fingers inspecting a jewel he is holding up to the light. Dwarf safe cracker with a conical ear piece could be on belt just to suggest the trade. Lesette the spy vampy but a little long in the tooth... wait no really is that a fang over that curled lip?
Jack Hayes
2020-04-30 15:24:10 +0000 UTCOne female efreet and one female djinn as huge or colossal guardians, they would be quite impressive, especially as you can paint them one red and another blue!
Jose Luis Rodriguez
2020-04-30 15:23:52 +0000 UTCI like that you will keep the vampires for the future and that they will eventually appear :) I want to know how you interpret them and what wonderful diorama or beasts you put there. About the thieves, will be nice that they have an arabian nights theme, like kind of middle eastern, with efreet as beasts (not a wind or fire elemental, but an actual female efreet or djinn). Also some of the thieves handling a stolen jewel, and some other with a magical scroll on his/her hand. A thieves guild queen with a pet too, a cat or a tiger. Also , some of the models on a running pose, and jumping can be nice. And one assasin mini too :) well that are my ideas. If you have to include a non human main character or monster, a Rakasha (either the demon, or a humanoid rakasha would be great, they are like humanoid tigers).
Jose Luis Rodriguez
2020-04-30 15:19:30 +0000 UTCWould love to see a Tortle Thief. I mean it seems so out of the ordinary, but there has to be some right? "Hey who stole my coin pouch?!?!", and the tortle slooowly retreats into its shell.

2020-04-30 14:48:33 +0000 UTCI know they are not glorious, but young pickpockets are usually an entry point into the guild (and for DnD the Urchin background).

2020-04-30 14:45:37 +0000 UTCI am 100% on board for multiple races. I like to play the unusual ones... genasi, tritons, teiflings, etc. I'd also like to maybe see some theives doing more charismatic things, it's not all stealth and stabby stab after all. spies, body guards, merchants, bards, sharp shooters etc.
Hel Hath
2020-04-30 14:43:53 +0000 UTCI'm glad yall are only temporarily shelving the Vampire's as I'm really picky about them and am confident that your take on them will be to my liking. As for the thieves I would love to see more elf and animal types. Cat, fox, wolf, rodent, ect in both bipedal furry types and human looking with animal traits, ears, tails, claws and fangs.

2020-04-30 14:24:31 +0000 UTCon the Orc or 1/2 orc gangboss - it would be pretty awesome to see a victorian styled gangboss...think 1 part street thug, 1 part Jacob Frye (AC Syndicate)

2020-04-30 14:18:33 +0000 UTCSince it is a guild, multi races character will looks good. And it will be like a preview for the patron, how every races looks like in Raging Heroes style. I know the pirate set does that, but more races to explore i guess.

2020-04-30 14:16:39 +0000 UTCI think with thieves, people usually think of the trope of the hooded, mysterious one that strikes from the shadows. While this a staple of a thieve's guild, I also like to see the thief that isn't necessarily afraid to be seen. One that has spunk and guts, just as vicious with words as they are with a blade

2020-04-30 13:59:09 +0000 UTCHalf-orc, you never see a good Half-Orc or Orc thief Mini. And I don't mean just the "You no see Ogg!" kind. I mean a good, alley dwelling knee-breaker, or maybe a Thuggish gang boss. Like a Half -Orc Version of Badger from Firefly, or Elliott from Leverage. :)

2020-04-30 13:53:18 +0000 UTCFor the thieves, you've already mentioned a desert theme, which is neat. This calls to mind Aladin and Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves. Would love to see more Arabian Nights inspirarion and possible a djinn or two. Maybe a large beast or two to guard home base? 2020-04-30 13:52:03 +0000 UTCDifferent races would be a great idea. Humans, elves, dwarfs, are standard. What about elemental folk? Maybe a Ifrit bard, or a sylph dancer?

2020-04-30 13:49:25 +0000 UTC1. One "Basic" where you got the Chance for simply Change Heads to geht the "Race" you want. 2. Somethin Like a mounted lizard , Gecko Like since this would be the best choice for a thief i gues (also If you could make the Rider and mount on its own and keep I IT that way, so after many months ppl would have a big range of mounts to use for their Riders) 3. Id Like to See somethin unusuall as "Thief" Something "dump"Like a huge ogre with a cloak . 4. Addable Accessoires , one handed crossbow, gun, a Money bag or even a small treasure for the base. 5. And Last but Not least a racoon ordering a Walking tree arround ... Dunno where i have Seen some similar so far ... Just a Idea =D edit: since i forgot , the official Raging Hero coin for coin Toss Moments in our adventures, and what would be better then the unigue coin the Thief guild managed to lay their Hands on.

2020-04-30 13:46:50 +0000 UTCI would like to see some fun race options. Human thief /rogue minis are a dime a dozen. But finding tieflings or elves is quite hard. I like seeing ones with hoods, but prefer to paint hair as opposed to a hood. Looking forward to seeing what you guys do with this one especially. 😁
