Something that was happening back in this time was when nurses harmed or killed children to play hero. They had the label ‘ Angel of Death’. I bet that is where they got her background. I’m guessing when her husband left is what made her connect w the romance Misery books and it put her back in the moments when she was happy. To her I think Paul was a tool. She wasn’t in love w him but the stories he wrote. That’s just my guess. Loved your reaction :)
