2021-06-21 04:38:22 +0000 UTCHey Mr G, I wonder could you give a shout out to Maureen Sweeny? She's a 98 yr old Irish woman who was just given an award by the US Congress. She was working at a weather station in Ireland and correctly predicted a storm was coming and passed the information along to the allies. This delayed the D Day landings from June 5th to June 6th. Remember in Episode 1 of Band of Brothers where Easy company are getting ready to load up and then they get told "no jump tonight"? That was because of this lady's weather report. She changed the course of history because without that report the allies would she sailed and flew right into some nasty weather which could have easily meant disaster on D Day. My real name is Paul S and I live in New York, I run a business creating table top terrain and custom boards for historical and scifi wargamers. It feels good that I'm my own boss and built something from the ground up and it brings joy to others. I obviously work from home so I am often at my desk working on clients orders or I'm taking care of the kids. So it is really awesome that I can sit here and watch your content while I create content for my own clients. Even when I'm at my desk until 3AM working on something I never feel alone when I can watch your channel. It legit makes me feel like I am watching a movie/show with a friend.
