I love the ending of the story and how tragic it is. The throughlines for all the characters is there. I love that Armin got to have two huge conversations with both Eren & Zeke. The suicidal/genocidal Jaeger brothers. I love that in the anime Isayama got to come back & tweak the dialogue between Eren & Armin. Armin absolutely calls Eren out on his shit & Eren finally admits the truth. He is a slave to circumstance, as terrible as they were, & slave to that future he saw. Everything eventually loops back despite your best (or worst) efforts, but that doesn’t mean that life & struggle is pointless. Such an insane and poignant story coming to its end.
