Armor (plate), very rare (requires attunement)
This black and gold plate armor was forged in the lower planes of hell and gives off a faint sulphuric stench. While wearing this armor you gain a +1 bonus to AC, and you can understand and speak Infernal. In addition, any creature that hits you with a melee weapon attack takes 1d8+1 piercing damage from the armor’s spikes. The imbued power in the armor gives you a devil’s gift of persuasion. You gain advantage on all Persuasion checks made while wearing the armor.
Cursed Armor. Once attuned to this armor, you can't remove it unless you are targeted by a remove curse spell or similar effect. While wearing this armor, you have disadvantage on attack rolls made against devils and on saving throws against their spells and special abilities.
Every commander in the devil hordes is presented with a set of armor to proclaim their rank for all to see. These commanders made a habit of never removing the armor for fear of assasination and it would eventually take on some of their powers, as well as their stench. The archdevils that gifted them also cursed them to make sure that they could never be used to in an attempt to challenge them.
