Are you going to just believe that person? Are you suddenly going to kill your friend in retaliation for spying on you? Probably not because even though you feel betrayed the connection and bond is hard to just stop feeling. You want to give them the benefit of the doubt. Betrayal feels different than pure hatred.(which would allow you to kill him without mercy) If one of the cybernerds was a spy do you think you could let them die?
