I've received numerous requests to do moveswaps on characters in both Dead or Alive and Tekken 7, usually having females switch to the larger male characters (Bayman and King). Here's a quick picture to demonstrate why that is not a good idea.
Basically, models in videogames have different "skeletons" and are rigged differently. If you take a character who has a smaller skeleton and slam it into a large skeleton then you get nightmare fuel. The female's limbs will get stretched out to fit the skeleton and it looks horrific. If you switch a female's moveset to another female character then the result isn't as bad, it's usually the face that just gets warped due to the slightly different rigging. As long as the characters are similar in height the disfiguration isn't too bad.
In Dead or Alive 6 Bayman is one of the tallest male characters, so if I were to do a moveswap from a female I would have to use the tallest females to get as close to the size of the skeleton as possible. In the original DOA6 roster Tina and Christie are the tallest females so using one of those two would get the closest fit. However, their limbs and torso are still elongated so it's not ideal. During the submission animations though everything moves so fast that the disfiguration isn't as noticeable.
Edit 2/7/2021: For Tekken 7 I found a tool that not only does moveswaps but swaps skeletons as well. This means I can give female characters King's and Dragunov's moveset. I still haven't found a good moveswap tool for Dead or Alive though.
