April sketches

Hey everyone! Just wanted to share what I was working on tonight! I’ve actually had the idea of what I’ve wanted to do for April for a while and I’m excited to start sketching it out.

I wanted to do a “April showers bring May flowers” theme that’s nice and fresh and green for spring! Which means I get to add as many cute little frogs as I want!

I love frogs so much but I have a weird aversion to making merch with them because I feel like a bunch of artists that are big inspos for me do a lot of frog art and I’m always worried about stepping on someone’s toes or some one saying what I’m doing is to close to what someone else is doing- which is silly!!

I’m trying to get better about getting out of my own head recently and so I was like, you know what! I’m gonna draw those frogs dang it!

This ended up getting a lot more wordy in this update than I’d expected but I really like being able to talk more candidly with you all than I would with most social media 💖

In other updates this months Washi has arrived!! I’m going to be taking nice photos of it and as soon as the stickers come in I’m going to be packing everything up and sending them out!
