It helps that Shelly's the subject for vampire. She's less straight and stoic than her husband and daughter, being both likable and funny. Yet she's undeniably a creature of the night. Her blood popsicles are proof enough of that, heh! I wouldn't be surprised if Wendy's tail consistently appears whenever they're offered now. And the best part, she couldn't give a damn about the stereotype between the two monster races. So of course she welcomes what's clearly a healthy friendship.
