Behind-the-scenes #2: Everything’s falling apart! AAAAH! [Illustrated comic + Photos + comments]

Hi everyone!

This time I cosplayed as Cecilia. I think this might be one of the most beautiful cosplays I’ve ever done, everything is so detailed and pretty. But to balance that out, I don’t think I’ve ever felt so dumb while making a cosplay. 😭

I think there was a whole system, like some kind of built-in logic to help you know where to attach the accessory clips… but I DIDN’T GET IT!

Most of the accessories had tiny clips on the back, but I couldn’t find anywhere on the outfit to actually attach them! :'D So I ended up pinning everything with hair clips.... AND THE CLIPS DIDN’T HOLD PROPERLY, so if I moved too much, things would fall off (some pieces even broke 💀).

And when something fell on the floor, I had to call my mom to pick it up, because if I bent down, other things would fall off, and it was hard to keep balance in those heels, AND, and, and then everything would start falling off and it would all fall apart and shhshdisjsoajaoajsoamaksjs 😭

The "bracelet" Cecilia wears came with some transparent straps, I also had no idea how to use them, so I just wrapped them around the bracelet. But when the straps loosened, it would either fall off or move out of place 😭

But in the end, everything worked out, and I’m happy. 🙏

I was really pleased with how it turned out, and I thought it looked beautiful! I took some photos without the green overskirt because I couldn’t sit down with it (it would mess up the petticoat), but I still think the cosplay looks great even without a few parts.
