Progress Report : 24-5-19
Added 2019-05-27 05:54:53 +0000 UTCApparently Arma's getting Alliums, which is great because I've always wanted Garlic Bread in my MilSim.
Jokes aside, getting back into the old polygon crafting rhythm after a few months doing nothing but patching, time to put the cards on the table and show the hand I'm working with.
SCAR Rifles
As of last week, we have a complete SCAR-H STD in it's current OEM form, plus a few extras. Next Step is to start on the L Receivers and then start broadening out to fill the other bits ( Gen 2 Stocks, Gen 1 Receivers and stocks, SSR and CQB parts, Customising accessories)
Oh and Also, I've done a Magpul brand Mag Pull 7.62 because I do recall a MW2-inspired build being on the cards.

OH, and because I'm impatient, Did this WELL before I really should have, I mean heck it's not even UVmapped, but the trajectory on where this is looking in game is positive.

Next-
M1941 Johnson LMG
Also, now mesh-complete, sans-magazine.

Lastly-
XM8 Family
Breaking the mesh-complete tread, the XM8s are still very much in the middle of progress, somewhere. I've yet to detail the left-hand side of the reciever, but I have started on the ISM Red dot/Laser combo, which while not being finished also is definitely resembling that state already. More PCAPs have been added, some minor geo changes under the barrel to go with.
It is looking good still though, so at least that's going.

So that leaves, the XM29, which I have done effectively nothing on since last report. I'll get to it, and I'm actually pretty sure by next month it'll be mesh complete,
That BASICALLY covers whats going on at the moment, the swap from being hair deep in script and bugs and game engine handling to being deep in making polygons is once again some serious whiplash that I'm catching up from, but we're making forward progress, which is always the way to be.
If you'd like to see any of the above stuff in higher detail, I've got an Imgur Album that shows it all off in original resolutions.
That's it from me for the moment, back to work.
Toadie, out.
