Side Quest - Official mp3s
Added 2021-05-04 01:00:01 +0000 UTCAs promised, now that we've officially finished the audio, we're releasing the official Side Quest album to Patrons, many months before its public release! (right now we're targeting December, but it will depend on vinyl turnaround).
Attached to this post are both a .zip file with the whole album in mp3 form, as well as individual files.
As a reminder, we did new studio versions of 4 tracks based primarily on Patron votes:
"The Taste For Glory"
"Chain Wallet Rock"
"Move"
"Circles"
And "The Taste For Glory" also has 100+ Patron-submitted vocals assembled into an epic IFD choir. I'm seriously thrilled with how that came out and hope you will be as well.
Plus I've also included the full wraparound cover art in this post, you may notice some easter eggs on the back cover of characters from previous albums hanging out while Sir Dave handles this side quest in the foreground.
In the coming weeks we'll be posting lossless wav files for audio nerds out there, as well as a full .zip file of all of the 100+ tracks we released throughout this adventure.
Thank you again for all of your support and raising your voices with us (literally). I think I speak for all of us when I say that we're blown away we still get to keep making music for all of you all these years into this quixotic adventure. We hope you enjoy!

Just got done with Navy Boot Camp and came back to the completed album. I literally cried during Taste for Glory. This SideQuest album was well worth the wait.

2021-06-20 05:05:23 +0000 UTCLike the commentors Jeremy and Christo, I have been a fan ever since seeing the music videos on the 3DS - Taste of Glory is just begging for a video. Maybe not with a 3D camera, but I can just imagine you guys on a mountain, having conquered some final-boss-esque foe to make it there, and using them as a set piece before you leap off the cliffside and glide into the horizon, as the sun sets.
