Late Stage Capitol-ism

This week has not gone as planned.

Originally, I started a script for a look at Capitol Comics, the publisher that existed between one eye blink and the next. But I thought I was padding the narrative to make it hit a certain, ad friendly length. At the same time, I was going through the comic they published, Nexus by Baron and Rude, with the intent that it would follow the Capitol video.

Instead, I folded the two scripts together because all that needs to be said about Capitol is part of the early history of Nexus. So, now I'm beating that Nexus script into shape. It's just not where I want it to be yet. But that's all I'm focusing on right now. That said, I intend it to be done sometime today. Other than pausing for lunch, or the occasional visit to City Of Heroes: Homecoming to clear my head, that's what my next 12 to 15 hours look like.

Concurrently, because I always have at least two scripts on the go, I finally found the ending to the video I'm calling, "My YouTube Experience." Although, that's just the working title. Anyway, it involves the very, very early years of Strange Brain Parts, before it switched gears and focused exclusively on comic books. Yes, there will be a ton of "lost" media included, with a detailed explanation of the "Overlord" branding and what it all meant.

I've yet to decide whether to make it Patreon exclusive (leaning heavy in that direction) or to do two versions. The second version, heavily edited to remove copyright material, could then be uploaded to YouTube. I'll figure whether I'll do both or not during the edit.

Anyway, I hope y'all are doing well. And I apologize for the delays, but I'm doing my best to bring my best on a very timely schedule. Best laid plans and all that, though. While this week ain't looking good, there will definitely be something next week.
