A Pulse-Pounding, Brief Update

Hello everyone!

Above is the title page for this week's video. Which should be pretty long. Like, 20-25 minutes in length. I've not edited all the narration down to its exact length, so that's my estimation based on the length of my script. I literally have 40 minutes of blown and alternate takes to wade through before I have an exact idea of the overall length.

It goes into way too much detail outlining Lee and Ditko's working relationship, how it evolved and how it fell apart. Finally, it lays out the evidence that contradicts the official narrative that Ditko quit because Lee put his foot down and demanded the Green Goblin be revealed as Norman Osborne.

It includes Ditko's own words on the topic. So, that's pretty cool. I'm shooting for a Wednesday release, but Friday is probably more realistic.

After that, I might put together an audio only version of all my Ditko videos concerning Spider-Man, which should be just over an hour or so. Although, I will likely add cut bits and extra narration to fill it out even more. So, at least an hour. But...that's a maybe right now.

Back to editing!

Ditko would have to have been fiercely committed to his story idea to have quit over it, so I'm really curious about what actually went down. That audio compilation of the Ditko episodes sounds pretty great!

Titular Heroine

I love those stories from the early days of the Marvel bullpen. Sometimes the stories behind the scenes are more interesting than the ones on the page.

I read about the Goblin theory many years ago. And that Lee and Ditko good not agree on the secret identity of the Green Goblin was the reason why Ditko left Marvel. I later heard that the theory is just an urban myth. So I am looking forward to this video.
