The Authority: Uncensored

It didn't occur to me until this morning that I could (and should) upload the uncensored version of this video for all you fine people. This is it's original version that was suddenly shadow banned by YouTube for no specified reason. The two versions on YouTube are a hastily censored version I did using the YouTube tools (which did nothing to get YouTube to reverse it's decision) and the other version is the equally censored version I did afterwards out of pure, unadulterated spite.

There are a few words blacked-out, but that was intended. Otherwise, it contains all the intended, unaltered graphics to illustrate the violence it portrayed and the censorship the comic received in its latter days.

You're very welcome!

Thank you for the intelligent relaxing content

I love the high quality of your videos. Also, I have to say the music to these videos are rather relaxing.

It is, most certainly, the work of bots. Unless you're a creators with, literally, millions of followers you never deal with a human being or get any cogent response concerning issues.

The Authority , Planetary , and X-Statix are the books that hooked me into comics. I know Millar’s run on The Authority is low brow, but the action and violence blew my 17 year old mind. I’ve been lucky enough to develop a friendship with Quitely and when I visited him in Scotland he gifted me a page from an issue of The Authority that was unpublished, just pencils, it has Midnighter and Apollo in bed together, Vin drew Apollo’s thong on the floor and got a good chuckle out of remembering doing so…..so, they definitely were working on the following issue before leaving for Marvel. Great video! As always.

I tend to prefer the StormWatch comics that lead into The Authority. I recall there was a issue where we learn more about Jenny Sparks. Where artist Tom Raney emulates the style of Joe Shuster, Will Eisner, Jack Kirby and Dave Gibbons in flashback of Sparks adventures during the 20th century. A little like Alan Moores Supreme. Its good that the unedited video has found a home.

This kind of thing is mystifying. I have a book on Amazon Kindle that was flagged "defective" and every time I tried to address it I would get the same message again a few months later, without any give and take or addressing of the logic of my rebuttal comments or proposed solutions. Seems to be the work of bots and no actual form of recourse is built into the process.

Well, no human likely looked. I'm convinced the AI trend is at least 1/3 another layer of denial for management.

Right? And I have ZERO feedback concerning what caused an issue. So, I was left to guess and THAT didn't resolve anything so. At least it has a home here now.

Allan Hatt

Obligatory "that's what tripped the censor algorithm? "Disbelief.
