Old SBP: Canada - The Amazing Truth Revealed!

While waiting for this weeks' video to arrive, I thought I would entertain you with this video I made back in February, 2016. It was live on the SBP channel for, maybe, a few months before I wiped almost all the content and focused strictly on comic books. So, if you remember this video, you've been around a LONG time.

Flash fact: I actually made this due to a call out on Facebook. A local comedy venue was looking for funny videos by local "talent" that they could play as interstitials between one comedian and the next. I had this idea in one form or another for years and had a very basic script written. Once I saw that call-out, I pulled that script out, polished it off and then edited the video you see above.

While it was politely rejected by the organizer, the response had the undercurrent of, "We can't use this. We don't even know what it is?!"

If I had to guess, the implied criticism or implication of then Prime Minister candidate, Justin Trudeau, had some fascist leanings was probably the deciding factor. Although, to be frank, I just thought the contrast of the video segment and the reaction to Trudeau in Conservative parts of Canada was amusing. Not the accusations.

Anyway, rejected it was. And I do believe the only thing I added before it was uploaded to SBP was the little conversation between me and the Human Fly at the end. Which I really like. In case you're wondering, yeah...that's me doing a slurry, almost Eric Cartman impersonation at the end. I kind of thought the Human Fly would have a slurry voice. Like a buzzing fly, you see! It just came out sounding like I thought I was on South Park.

I hope you enjoy and can overlook the old style, kind of muddled vocals. It was made using my old microphone, so the quality isn't the best.
