I Killed Adolph Hitler by Jason

First of many short reviews this week focused on Jason. This is one I'd like to do a little more in-depth in the future, but it's pretty spoiler free for those not familiar with it. As will the rest of the short reviews.

Can't wait for the conclusion! No rip-off vibes, this is all stuff that's largely not subjective when you've read enough comics to understand what they are and are not doing with form and content. I love your thoughtful analysis on everything you cover, brotha!

I agree 100%.

You couldn't have said it better. And some of this I touch upon in the conclusion following all the quick reviews. So, when you hear what sounds like what you just wrote in the complete video don't think I'm ripping you off. (Said with a smile, naturally.) By the way...you're awesome. Everyone buy his work.

You just made me very curious about this artist. I’ll be looking for him on my next comic run. Thanks 😎

In my top 5 greatest comics of all time. Jason is one of my favorite cartoonists, using deceptively simple cartooning and allowing the reader to project themselves and their emotions into the characters. Scott McCloud covered this in Understanding Comics, drawing himself more and more realistic, and soon you were aware of the messenger and not the message. A blank stare does so much in Jason's work. I love how he uses human relationships and keeps it character driven with a back drop of something weird, like time travel, or werewolves or, whatever. I Killed Adolf Hitler is my favorite of his, I've loaned it out many times to friends and family who aren't comic readers.

This book is more concerned with the fiction working than any particular Theory of Time Travel (TM). It's better for it, and I say that as a lover of Primer.
