Above is an enigmatic screenshot from the next video: The origin and history of Vertigo Comics. Yes, this *seems* like a remake, but I maybe used 5% of the original script. Not to mention, the original was only about 9 minutes long and this one is 20 minutes. So, a pretty significant change. I'm working hard to get this one out later today.
Next week will likely be Into The Murphyverse, with a look at the White Knight series of titles done by Sean Murphy, et al. Also in the planning stages is The Sandman Universe. This way, almost everything put out on Black Label will be pretty thoroughly covered.
So, that's what you have to look forward to!
Apologies for the late announcement, but it really has been a very tiring, very busy week for me. Hopefully things even out pretty quickly.

2023-09-01 23:32:36 +0000 UTCI have a partial view, but I feel like vertigo is really just a chapter in the Karen Berger Story (No, feel free to hollow out 2000ad with your 'remuneration' and your 'contracts that aren't signing the back of the IPC cheque'). I think she in herself casts a huge shadow, and I'd like to see an analysis of her as herself.

2023-09-01 20:57:13 +0000 UTCI read the first White Knight series and distinctly remember an issue that had exposition for the same thing twice in consecutive scenes and a lot of chunky overwriting typical for an artist. I gave up halfway through the 2nd series because it was kind of boring.

I really, really wanted to do a livestream this week, but real life kept interrupting me.That may slightly scratch the interaction itch. Although, having an actual conversation with someone would be cooler.

Start doing local comic and sci-fi cons and set up a regular panel at each con, under your name of Strange Brain Parts, and have a panel discussion about comics. You'll greatly expand your fan base and hopefully your subscriber base. As well as having fun, which is the whole point of going to conventions.
