A Podcast Version, Maybe?
Added 2023-08-13 13:32:27 +0000 UTCFor a while I've been considering taking the audio from my videos, adding an introduction and some additional dialogue and basically turning the video into an audio only podcast. It's an option recently offered by YouTube.
The reason I'm leaning towards this as an option is because some people just listen to the video while doing something else. Hell, I do that with other videos myself while I'm making graphics or doing editing.
So, I though I'd solicit your advice and see if there's any interest whatsoever.
To be clear: The audio only version wouldn't happen until a week or two after the video version. I'm definitely not going to replace one with the other. And I'll likely combine two videos in one to exceed 25-30 minutes of listening time.

2023-08-13 13:39:27 +0000 UTCMy initial reaction was, no don't make extra work for yourself, but I do listen to podcasts in the car, and this might be something to explore... as long as it doesn't cannibalize your YouTube posts. But maybe it is also a way to drive people who listen to podcasts to your YouTube channel. So yo answer your question... Yes? maybe?
