Ymir actually appeared several times in s1. During 104th training arc (eps 3&4), again when the wall on Trost district fell- I think t was after Eren was eaten by a Titan and Conny or someone else was asking Armin what happened and Ymir was the one who said that Eren's squad was annihilated and only Armin survived. She then appeared when Erwin was recruiting the cadets to join the scout regiment, she's also seen during the expedition arc to capture Annie in the forest. Probably wasn't too memorable but she's been introduced from s1 for sure. Excited for more AOT!! I'm glad you've been enjoying it though I get the stress aspect 😅
