Rayleigh being one and Shanks when he got on board Whitebeard's ship. Now Luffy has used this same power, "Conqueror's Spirit", even though it was unintentional and has now shocked the warriors of Amazon Lily. Frozen in fear of what this man could possibly do. As for Haki being correlated with strength, I find it interesting that when he fought that giant black panther, they mentioned he didn't use Haki. Luffy just beat it with brute strength alone but again, at this point in time, we don't know exactly how Haki works. It'll be interesting to see where the story goes from here :)
