anime recommendations~
Added 2025-01-10 10:06:03 +0000 UTChi everyone!
i'm planning our next anime to watch once dandadan is done and i'd love your recommendations! i'll put together the most frequent picks into a poll within the next few days so we can decide together!
note: i'm taking a little break from vinland saga and the apothecary diaries right now as they just weren't hitting as i'd hoped and i don't want to give you all low effort reactions. these might return in future but for now no need to recommend them!
i have been thinking of finally reacting to attack on titan this year but i'd like to gauge interest, so please go wild with your recs :)

Jumping in with all the other recommendations for Haikyu, it's insanely wholesome AND it has a huge following so you'll get a lot of new followers on Youtube/Patreon. Also if you're into soccer for some reason Blue Lock is very good and just had a really hype season. Also saw someone else recommend Kaiju No 8 which I will give another +1 to, and then one that not many other people are watching, Go Go Loser Ranger also known as Ranger Reject, very interesting plot and something I want more people to get into. OH, and a personal favorite of mine that came out not long ago which a lot of people liked, BOCCHI THE ROCK!

2025-01-10 22:42:08 +0000 UTCOh! I would love Spy X Family or Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood <3 Finished my re-read of FMA last year and currently reading Spy X Family. Re-watching and reading OP atm so those two would be so fun to watch with you alongside your OP reactions 😊

2025-01-10 18:21:46 +0000 UTCFMAB Spy Family Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War return? Skip & Loafer Insomniacs After School Tora Dora FMAB and Spy Family are usually pretty popular ones! Otherwise I'm here with a million romcom recs lol. I personally would enjoy a (long-awaited) return of Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War, Skip & Loafer is a gorgeous show that just got a second season announcement last month, Insomniacs After School is a quick, well-loved show with shockingly few reactions yet despite showing up on a lot of reactors polls, and Tora Dora is an old classic with really tight writing that pushes things forward every episode.

2025-01-10 15:29:46 +0000 UTCI have to say Kaiju No. 8 Is one of the best recent ones, great action and great comedy. Also Akame ga kill!, one of my favorites but i don't see many reactions to it out there, sad.

2025-01-10 14:13:59 +0000 UTCI’d say the popular anime’s like Demon Slayer or Death Note would definitely be well liked. Bluelock is also a really great series with its newest season just finishing. But definitely yes to Attack on Titan first.

2025-01-10 13:59:23 +0000 UTCYes Yes Yes on Attack on Titan. My favourite anime for the longest time until I started One Piece

2025-01-10 13:55:08 +0000 UTCI recommend Haikyuu- you will not find a more wholesome and uplifting story in anime in my opinion. While the show is about a volleyball team, it’s really about making connections with other people and about the constant struggle of self-improvement

2025-01-10 13:53:26 +0000 UTCI personally want you to react to My Hero, its my favorite but I understand some people don't like it for whatever reason (but i think you'd like it)(also not that you'll watch the Dub, but the main-side character is voiced by Zoro, just something to keep in mind if you ever watch it)

2025-01-10 13:37:09 +0000 UTCI dunno if this would be a popular one. It's a bit of a hidden gem so I don't like it's chances in a poll vote, but you should definitely give March Comes In Like A Lion a try. It's gorgeous, the characters are engaging and very deep, and the writing is downright phenomenal. Even if it doesn't become a show on the channel, it's worth watching in your own time, especially if you're in the mood to feel some feelings

2025-01-10 13:31:30 +0000 UTCThe Way Of The Househusband is on netflix. It's pretty quick to get through, light-hearted good times.

2025-01-10 11:03:22 +0000 UTCHave you tried Delicious in Dungeon? Haven't seen it myself but it was a big trend while it was airing. Heard nothing but good things about it. And if you ever wanna dip in the pool of some old school anime, you can consider trying Full Metal Alchemist or Gurren Lagann one day.

2025-01-10 10:54:53 +0000 UTCPersonally, I'd go for series have a sequels coming out soon, or are currently airing, as that might drum up some interest and possibly gain new followers who are fans of the shows. Solo Leveling is already huge after just one episode, so adding that would be great. Reincarnated as a Sword's second season is just around the corner as well. I'll be curious to see what's on the poll.
