It was pretty clear the king of Lyneel Kingdom was going to conquer and take the gold. Poor Noland didn't suspect a thing. The silver lining to the splitting of Jaya is that it couldn't be conquered by the king and plundered.

2023-08-12 07:58:39 +0000 UTCI would have to assume that the Shandians and Skypeians were from the same race of people. At some point, they must have had some people move in different locations. We are only seeing what happened 400 years ago, so this “Separation” would have happened several hundreds of years ago before the Calgara and Noland story. That’s my theory anyway. Zoro’s unwavering loyalty and trust towards Luffy is one of the main reasons why he’s my favorite character in the series 😁
