No spoilers in this talk, just a comment on my mindset with this arc and how I view it. Pretty awesome that you love this arc so much. It is one of the more negative talked about arcs by fans earlier on in One Piece lifespan but not as much anymore. Always found it weird since the character development is so great. I think people always treated this as filler because they didn't see how it related to the overarching story going on currently in One Piece, but my speculation as well as some hints dropped during this arc that it will actually be one of the most important callbacks in the future.

2023-07-30 02:42:29 +0000 UTCI don't get the hate, or even the dislike, for this arc either. Is this a strong arc compared to Alabasta? No, but it's still good. I've heard all the complaints about the Sky Islands Arc and even though I do understand the points being made, for me it doesn't change anything. There's many things to take away from each episode, even filler episodes, that will come into play later in the series and to skip these episodes or arcs is just crazy to me. For me, One Piece is a marathon... not a sprint. It's something that shouldn't be rushed... unless its a recap episode in where the whole episode is just them in past episodes and nothing new is progressing. Those I think you can skip lol
