sadly, more bad news

Sadly my YouTube channel has now received a copyright strike for My Dress-Up Darling reactions. After the Patreon claims a few weeks ago I am feeling so deflated today. Unfortunately currently at risk shows (right now it's looking like My Dress-Up Darling and Demon Slayer) will have to be privatised on YouTube to try to prevent my channel from being terminated.

My Dress-Up Darling will continue as a Patreon exclusive (Tier 2 and above) so long as I don't run into any issues there. I'm so sorry everyone, I'm at a loss and just feeling really down about it today and I know so many reactors are currently going through the same thing. The thought of losing this channel that I've worked so hard to build and a huge part of my livelihood is so scary.

I don't really know what to do going forward but I'll try to figure this out. Thanks for your patience.

Comments

If I remember correctly the same thing happened with Demon Slayer when Season 2 first started up.

Seems like the studios are beefing up their anti-piracy policing in the days before their new shows come out. A move motivated completely by greed and without any sort of consideration for those who share their enjoyment of the show and build an honest, and more importantly, LEGAL living from it. It's sad that we really have no power as individuals against large entities like publications companies. Maybe one day we will have a content creator's union that has the power to stand up for the workers!

Seems like it's that season where these companies come after everyone. You'll weather the storm and it'll turn out OK.

Omg....there is a fair use time allowing for reactions that don't even need a watermark, transparency, or volume subtraction. I'm sorry you are going through this again
