One of my favorite details in this episode is how they actually sound out of rhythm during the first performance. It's difficult to record something like that *on purpose*, but the production crew nailed it.

2023-02-20 17:00:08 +0000 UTCIf you ever want to know more about Nijika's and her sister's backstory, the author of the manga released a chapter around the same time this episode aired as an independent chapter completely isolated from the rest of the manga that focuses exclusively on Nijika. She (the author) figured people might want to know more about Nijika after seeing this episode so she timed the release of the chapter to give people exactly what they were looking for! There's no Bocchi, no Ryo, and no Kita. Chapter 61 of the Bocchi the Rock manga if you're ever interested! (I also doubt it'll get animated with how far away that chapter is).

Bocchi's solo... the comedy at the restaurant than the most intimate and emotional conversation between Bocchi and Nijika that makes me tear up every time then the best Title Drop of all time. All coming together so well making an episode ill never forget. Funny enough MDUD Ep 8 is also one of my fav ep of any show.
