Even if your kid is a fan you tell him no, especially considering Travis' past disregard for safety and his willingness to put people in harm's way. I think any time Travis Scott plays a show, the crowd needs to chant Ezra's name, and remind Travis of what he caused (for the record, I would NEVER bring my 10 year old son to a show like this, because I've been to at least 50 metal/hardcore festivals, where we all go in survival mode, knowing we're about to be in a crazy mosh pit and ready for war. But that's not what anyone going to a hip hop show would ever expect). But anyone who's ever been to a hardcore/metal/punk show, can see that Travis saw one of those shows, and tries to bring that vibe to his shows. But at hardcore shows, no band ever yells at the crowd to force them to "rage.... They open up their set, and the crowd is straight into a pit. You can't be a mainstream pop/hip hop millionaire, while also having shows that mirror and underground hardcore show, while 75% of the crowd has no idea they're there for a hardcore show, and dressed up nice to take IG pics.

R. I. P. Ezra Blount. That kid will always stick with me no matter how much time passes. My grandson is the same age and I could not imagine how his family is feeling. With that being said my opinions don't matter much but I kind of feel like everybody is to blame. Live Nation for knowing that his concerts turn out this way, Travis Scott for acting like he didn't see anything out of sorts when he did and I think that he was probably just so fucking high that it didn't seem as bad in his mind at the time. Apple especially because this whole seating arrangement and the whole way that the pit was set up with the rails in the amount of people that were supposed to be in it were because Apple wanted an exact view in an exact best setup for them casting it live. They chose that. The people who starred and jumped on an ambulance while trying to navigate through the crowd and then saying after, on social media at that, they thought it was part of the show, and one guy even said he would do it all over again because they shouldn't have been there if they didn't want to rage. The crowd because a lot had no idea what was going on but a lot did and then simply said not my problem man. As human beings are natural instinct is to want to help it's sad that those of us that would run to the fire have to get bumped into by those trying to run towards it. I don't know where humankind and has gotten their present ways but we have a definite lack of sympathy or anything else when it comes to anything outside of our personal bubble. Some people may not have known how's Travis Scott's concert tour but if you're a fan then you definitely know and you should have stayed in the back. I have a natural instinct that tells me hey this is fucking bad don't go there. When I feel scared of something I don't question it. And no way do I blame Ezra's dad but as a grandparent to a 9-year-old there's no effing way. And I feel so bad for his dad because he has to live with that and he did nothing wrong he just wanted to show his son a good time but at the same time if his dad was such a fan he knew what could happen there and for him to be in the rage zone wasn't very smart. But that family has my sympathy and my thoughts constantly. Those others had life ahead of them I just want to have a good time and see the artist that they loved. And I think if you just assumed some responsibility he wouldn't be in the place that he's in now. Even if he did mean what he said it didn't portray it and the Charlemagne the God interview definitely didn't help. Hopefully I didn't offend anybody with this these are just my personal thoughts.

While Travis is absolutely responsible for the hype around it, the "rage culture" he encourages and his continuation of the performance, Live Nation should be punished equally for their part in venue planning, lack of medics / security on site and poor lines of communication to the performers. I feel like it's pretty obvious why he isn't taking any responsibility at the moment, there's a legal investigation underway, you really went in on him as if that isn't what any person would do under their lawyers advice. Also this could change in the last 10m I've yet to watch but the lack of coverage of live Nation and their history of understaffing security is strange. Mostly agree with this video except there's alot of conjecture. Thinking drake would be frantically checking social media for news about the concert in the 15 min time span before he went onstage is an example. Also we have no idea what the 2 guys said to Travis onstage but it makes sense they are one of the routine fans Travis lets jump off stage at his show. With that said, I agree Travis has a history of recklessness and irresponsibility with leading his concerts and is hugely responsible for the events that occurred since it was his show.
