The girls fingernail turning red was, I believe, her cost for summoning the snake. When aki calls on his wolf he gives it part of his flesh. So she just lost a finger nail to summon the whole snake when aki looses a good like 8” of skin around his arm for just the head of the wolf. At least that’s how I interpreted it.

2022-12-06 23:28:28 +0000 UTCSword guy was referencing all the other devil hunters “chainsaw’s people”, meaning his friends and co workers. Makima said “This isn’t mine” in reference to the blood all over her. The other thing she says is “I wasn’t shot” not “this is borrowed”. Hope that helps.
