There's just a tiny sprinkling of cross-promotional episodes that basically just use the characters and has nothing to do with the world or story in any way and a few recap-style episodes, but aside from that OP is shockingly light on filler for its length. I think they realized if they tried to draw things out the VAs would die of old age before finishing it XD

2022-12-05 00:53:56 +0000 UTCI may be in the minority, but I actually really like that you're going through the filler episodes as well, because being in a hurry to catch up misses the point. It's about the journey. I've seen and read this series multiple times over the last 20 years, not to mention watched reactors experiencing it for the first time. Currently this series has reached a point where the end is in sight. It's still quite a ways off, but there's a clear path visible to us. I have no doubt that I'm going to weep when this series ends. So as a fan, I want to spend as much time with our crew as I can. There are so many hilarious, golden moments with the Strawhats that are only seen in the filler arcs. Plus this arc provides us canon information about the Calm Belt and Sea Kings.
