I really like page 57's subtext, so I thought it deserved its own post
Faen's lesson 2, applied! Faen knows what's going on, Piras knows what's going on, and i hope we all know what's going on too! The question is who's going to bite the bait first.
Besides the kinda bantery verbal slaps, I really like this page in particular, because it makes it more evident that Faen has been going not only for Piras bruises, but for Piras [emotional bruises] all along. He knows exactly where it hurts and he's never been afraid to use it to his advantage.
Piras on the other hand is just learning these nasty psychological warfare techniques xD, but the boy catches up. I've always thought Piras is smarter than people give him credit for, and this is one of the things he's good at; empathizing, getting a feel of what people are like really.
And surprise surprise! He has the capability of using it against others too. He might not be cool and calculative as Faen, but he's not all goodie after all.
Next update we'll see how Faen likes to be dissected as well :D
