October 2025 DTNS Update

Hey folks,

So we’re into the last quarter of the year, are we? Well, that must mean we have to pan for CES. I know. It doesn’t come until January, but we’re already registering to attend, and I have hotel rooms and everything. Looks like it will be Robb, Amos, and me again, with Roger managing things from the home front. We’ll probably do live streams every day as well. So get ready!

In the meantime, we’ve been settling into the new schedule and making some tweaks. 

I’m doing Office Hours streams at 4 PM Eastern on Monday and Tuesday. Instead of the editor’s desk in the stream, though, the Tuesday Office Hours is a mailbag. Editor’s desk will go back to being an audio file on its own. 

Also, the Office Hours will be moving to the bonus feed. I’m sort of ambivalent on the Friday Hangout. I think I’ll leave it in the DTNS Live Patreon feed for now, but if you’d prefer that one in the bonus feed too, let me know.. We’re trying to make it less confusing, which shows are where. 

Live With It will still release on Wednesdays, including a streaming premiere at 4 PM Eastern. And of course, DTNS Live is steaming ahead with its weekly Thursday episode!

Speaking of Live With It, we have some really interesting products in the hopper for that. Nicole Lee reports on her Instant Pot Air Fryer, Jenn Cutter is going to weigh in on the Switch 2. Dan Campos has a report on his RODE wireless mic. And Eileen accidentally bought a MAX version of the iPhone Pro instead of the regular-sized one. So she’ll be weighing in on that.
