Another solution for mailbox that works and is super helpful to reduce your "spam" snail mail is Traveling Mailbox. I use it myself as I have a mobile lifestyle now in my motorhome and selecting to live in places for short-term timeframes. It is a service that receives your mail and scans the envelopes so you can see the envelope. They do not scan any envelope that is not directly addressed to you, so bulk mail that is not directly addressed. You can look at the scans and select to have them shred the mail, open and scan the contents, or forward the mail to an address of your choosing. They have a good web UI along with apps on iOS, iPadOS and Android. I have been super impressed with them and they meet a lot of privacy and legal standards, like signing a BAA for HIPAA (I worked in the medical industry so know the meaning of this). They forward either via USPS or FedEx. They can receive packages and forward them to you as well, but I tend to have packages delivered to where I am at or another local spot, like Amazon Lockers or UPS Stores.
